Cleveleys Shelter back in stock
The Cleveleys shelter (double-bay - item S4) is now back in stock with the main etchings combined into fewer parts - £10.50 plus £1.20 p&p

New Etched Specials
Another selection of nickel silver etchings is now available and as usual some stocks are very limited.  A standard rate sae will cover postage on several items.

Front grilles:  The later Sentinel grille in Ribble and standard versions - note that the prototype of the Ribble batch had a slightly different pattern, and I’ve done some etches with the name separate to suit my own wish for an ex-Ribble vehicle.  Jensen grille - the half-etch version was done as insurance in case the etch-through version didn’t work and could be used on new-builds where it should be placed in a 5 thou recess.  The prongs of the N in the etch-through version are very delicate and easy to catch on the fingertip.  AustinMorris Commercial, 10.5mm high (I suspect there was also a taller version).  Leyland BMMO - plain, Alexander (for some of Alexander’s lowbridge PD3s - open platform conversion of Marsden’s kit), BournemouthAlexander Bristol VRT.  All £1.20 each.

Sentinel Jensen, Austin, Morris Commercial
Leyland BMMO, Alexander Alexander VRT

Rear wheel trims:  London Transport (and other operators).  A second style of coach trim, one-piece etching.  £1 a pair.

Other items:  BMAC OMO signs, £1.20 per pack of 5, rear & sidelights sets, £1.20 with front lights, £1 without (who forgot to double up the latter?!).  Windover Kingsway side trims (see under “Etched Specials” heading) are now available - £4.50 a pair.  Plaxton Highway front V trims - two depths, £1.20 each, side “step” trims (2 styles), £1.20 a pair (please advise if you are working with the RTC kit):

ETCHED SPECIALS

Arising from customer requests and my own requirements, I have produced a selection of etched items, mostly in 8 thou nickel silver, just small quantities to see how they turn out and to see if there would be any wider interest.  Availability or additional stock depends on circumstances.  Also one or two related extra castings etc

The big items are side trims for the TiNY Windover Kingsway and for restoring an old Westward Alexander M Type coach. Centre right are a selection of 1950s Alexander single-deck grilles while along the top, from left, are side trims for TiNY's 1955 Willowbrook DP with Willowbrook front wings shown third from left, Yorkshire Traction coach wings (full and half), Bournemouth Leyland PD3 grilles to scale and for the Corgi PD2, Bedford SB grille for Paragon's 1957 Duple Midland bus, early Sentinel STC4 (Little Bus) grille, Ailsa grilles with or without badge, and Foden triangle and diamond badges. On the right are two two-part etches for rear wheeltrims for coaches and for Foden front wheels.
Top right is an 009 item, scale grille mesh for the Worsley Works WASP ex MoD railcar.

Arising from the wish to shorten the PSG Scania East Lancs Cityzen kit, and having failed to find an effective way of producing printed glazing in very small quantities, a set of etched brass window frames has been prepared for both lengths.  In conjunction with these and the cast front panel (item F9m, shown below) there are replacement castings for the angled panel over the windscreen and interior dash, plus a replacement windscreen which can be trimmed to fit both modified and unmodified kits.

OTHER NOTES

I’ve seen in Railway Modeller that Dart Castings have introduced a bus driver and conductor figures - http://www.dartcastings.co.uk/montys/MSV57.htm.  Please deal with Dart Castings direct - I do not stock these items.
