In August 2005 a realisation that there was a demand for greater pictorial coverage of model buses on the Web was met by Donald Grant. The Model Bus Gallery opened, and has grown steadily to become what is probably the largest collection of model bus pictures available anywhere. There are currently (March 2011) over 10,700 images of model buses available to be viewed, and the collection prides itself in maintaining healthy Stop Press and Recent Photos features linking to the very latest pictorial model news. The Model Bus Gallery is maintained by Kevin Ellis and Tony Price.

The Model Bus Web site started life as the Worldwide Model Buses Web site, and was first put up for viewing in April 2006. It became The Model Bus Website in March 2009. The number of features available has grown gently over time, and the web site now fills a number of gaps in the on-line model bus enthusiast's world - the comprehensive Model Lists, Model Reviews, and Model Kits coverage quickly became established as firm favourites as they were introduced. The website is maintained by Tony Price.

By far the happiest (and most rewarding for everyone) feature of The Model Bus sites is it's collaborative nature - the whole enterprise is, ultimately, the result of input from a great number of people and not just that of those uploading the words and pictures. We hope you enjoy the fruits of all their efforts.
